About the building

Frederick Horniman assembled around 30,000 items ranging from natural history and anthropology to musical instruments, and in 1901 founded the Horniman Museum. It has displays of anthropology, natural history and musical instruments, and is known for its large collection of taxidermied animals.

About the artist

Virginia Duran is an architect and urban planner from Madrid, Spain. Her profession as an architect and her passion for art remain inextricably entwined. As a result, her primary interest within art is space and its relationship to people.
